We are back for Round 10 of the Super League at Brentwood and the closing rounds of the Championship.
The Quali session was absolutely awful this week as I was held up by a driver for the whole duration of the session so I actually qualified P11, so this was already going to be an uphill struggle from the off.
The start of Heat was carnage, just with people crashing into the sides of everyone else, it really was like bumper cars! The kart was so bouncy in parts that it made progress quite slow & difficult but in the end I finished up P7 and considering where we started it wasn't too bad of a recovery.
I was starting P8 in the Heat 2 and again was on the outside, so was in for a tough race again. The kart didn't get off of the line well as it felt like it cut out, but once it started moving it wasn't too bad. The race I spent a lot of time going up and down the order and it was a complete dash to the line and I only managed to make up 2 places overall so I P6.
This had me starting out P6 in the B Final and again on the outside. The start of the race was just mental and I was sandwiched on multiple occasions which see me lose out on positions and spent most of the time trying to recover from the start really. In the end I had to settle for P7 - another disappointing day really and this is the last round that I will be taking part in this season as I am going on my Summer Holiday tomorrow!
