Brentwood Super League - Season 4 - Round 3

We are back to Brentwood for Round 3 of the Super League & quali session went really well. The kart felt great and I managed to put it on pole. I got a great start and managed to pull a gap and worked really well with Jasper who was following to allow us to get away from the chasing pack before we started battling. We had some great battles over the heat and was exchanging places but in the end the chequered flag come before I managed to get the lead back but it was a great race and P2 was better than nothing.

Next up was Heat 2 and I was starting P8 on the grid. On the opening lap I was fired out onto the grass and dropped back to dead last, an ABC was given in my favour but by this time it was pretty irrelevant and was all about damage limitation at that point and crossed the line P11 - awful.

Due to that low finish in Heat 2 I found myself in the B Final and starting in P4, I just needed to get myself in the top 2 to gain promotion to the A Final. Off of the line I went absolutely nowhere but managed to slot into P5, now was a case of getting my head down and pushing on. Once I got myself back into P4 the kart seemed to come alive, there was still hope!

There was a move ahead for P2, so I was sitting close behind in the hope to pick up any further places and it came off, I was up into 3rd but the camera had run out of charge at that point. We kept pushing on but the I was spun out from behind and dropped down the order finishing the final P8. We were so close, still there's always next round to be more lucky!
